So our waiter seemed a bit overwhelmed but he still nailed it. The entire waitstaff was all over it excellent job. The food was perfect and probably the best linguine and clams I've ever had, and I've had a few. Prices on the high end but the service, food and location dictate that. Really enjoyed the ambiance as well.
If I could give these guys a 10, I would. They are very accommodating friendly. Big kudos to Daniel and Nacho at the bar they were off the charts. Food terrific

When I first moved to Oak Park I went to Rustico almost every night for five months. Then, I moved to Australia. I'm back and enjoy the awesome food, drinks and staff.
Excellent food! Lots of choices, and a welcoming, creative flexibility about preparation. Outstanding ravioli, gnocchi, and salads. Good bread. Solid service. Full bar. Downside: a bit noisy. Will return.
Great food and amazing service. The servers are all very professional. The ambiance is very nice inside. Great for special occasions.
Rustico is family friendly and offers delicious Italian food! We made reservations for a party of 9 on a Friday evening and were seated in the covered patio area. Our server and her team of staff were friendly, service was attentive and efficient. We asked for the pork chop parmigiana (which we had a while back, loved, and is not on their menu) and they were able to make it! The heirloom tomato arugula, grilled Spanish octopus and calamari salad, Mediterranean branzino were also delicious. Unfortunately the angel's chocolate old fashion tasted light and watered down. Perhaps it was a miss that evening. We had cabernet sauvignons from their wine list which were good.
A go to spot for Italian food! I usually get the linguine and clams, and it's soo good! It can be a little salty, but I have a more plain palette. Service is usually pretty good and ambiance is a little more upscale but not that fancy. Have also tried ciopinno (salty for me lol) and octopus salad (octopus was cooked very well)
